took this photo about three months ago and was in my memory card. i remember when one of my kiddies pointed out this handsome fella while we are at the garden. loving his colours and little green "poo" a think at the bottom!  :D

i've been all over the place for the past week. a few of my girlfriends are in town and i have been spending my last week sleeping late, errr, early in the morning and i have to get up early for work. i miss them and i love being with them but i miss my rest too. :D

i captured this the same day that skittles and the rest of the gang are sunbathing outside school :D. once or twice there will be butterflies fluttering around but it was quite difficult to catch them (they are very restless). this one stayed in it's place for more than ten seconds. so i snapped his picture trying to focus on the eyes. i have read that you should always focus on the eyes if you are doing insect photography. so from all the shots that i have taken, this is the best one that i have. what do you think?

taken at the botanical gardens. my first alive butterfly shot (yey!). there are a couple of butterflies i have seen around but unfortunately i am not really good at chasing after them as they are really restless and it was very humid that day too (in short: tinamad ako! :D). good thing this guy rested for about ten seconds before it flew again. i didn't really notice that it also had it's wings broken. poor little fella :(

my first tutubi (dragonfly) shot! yay! we went to Botanical gardens for an ocular for a planned field trip. the closest that i can get because one more step and i will definitely fall on the pond! :D this cute creature reminds me most of my childhood memories as i used to chase and catch this tutubing kalabaw and tutubing karayom (really getting old! :D).
