my first post for sky watch friday. last quarter moon shot in Yogyakarta. i can't help but be fascinated with the moon. and it seems to be smiling at me as well (hope it does the same thing to you). have a nice weekend everyone! link to sky watch is here
this is a Ramayana ballet dancer. i took this shot during our trip to Yogyakarta. it's an open-air theater with Prambanan temple at the backdrop. according to the locals, they usually perform during the full moon and we were quite lucky because they have a scheduled performance when we went there. it was an awesome local ballet performance that lasted for three hours. it depicts the love story of Rama and Shinta. everything is really great, i have learnt to appreciate the gamelan and the elaborate costumes as well.
