Singapore held its first Night Race ever in the history of Formula One racing. the bleachers and race track on the prep day...

the race track...

we went to check the practice (Fri, 26th Sept). from the dozens of photos that we took, none came out that good. i even tried to video it but it didn't came out good as well. i was never a follower of the F1 although i know some drivers. but the moment i've seen the preparations and heard the racing cars, i couldn't help but get excited and feel the adrenaline rush!

i don't know who the drivers are, but i am just so excited!!!

i love taking photos of the moon. unfortunately i haven't had the chance to take photos lately. this shot was taken few months ago before leaving Jakarta. it was funny because it was late in the afternoon when we saw the moon and decided to press the shutter because rarely do i get the chance to picture the moon against the blue sky.

it was the Mooncake Festival over this weekend here in Singapore. my first time to actually celebrate the festival. unfortunately i wasn't able to attend the celebration at Chinatown. but still uncle has received a couple of mooncakes from his friends.
just some info, mooncake is a traditional chinese pastry made from lotus seed paste with a thin crust and usually contains egg yolk from salty duck egg. it is rich, heavy and dense. though most mooncakes these days have different variations.
the photos above are the nut mooncake and pig-shaped mooncake. the nut mooncake tastes good as i love nuts. but i didn't eat the pig-shaped as i know it is too filling. probably if i can find chocolate mooncake that a friend is raving about, i'd try that one as well.
