i'm always in awe whenever i see a lotus flower. they always look like they're flaming in the middle. definitely one of my favourite flower subject :)

never meant to be on hiatus for a month. i've missed posting and visiting blogs. hopefully i'll be able to catch up. :)

for some strange reasons, i'm finding this flower much better in mono. the coloured one is in red, which is too red for my liking. taken at the garden in our rented flat in la union last december. :D

from archives. i haven't been shooting that much, and i haven't finished sorting out photos. i need to do some spring cleaning :D

there's something about monotone effect on flower photos that i like.

taken last February. somehow i keep on telling that i have some personal projects going on. i'm glad to say that i'm done with it! feel such a relief after being able to finish it. there are a lot of things i've learnt from it. i still need to polish some stuffs before finally posting it here. one thing i've realised is that it's not easy to say "yes".

i got back from my speedy backpack vacation a few days ago. i returned with loads of work and personal stuffs to do. although i had a blast from my hectic vacation, i didn't took much photos of anything, but it was the best surprise i've ever given to my grandma (she almost had a heart attack seeing me in front of our door! :D) and my mum (she pretended to be upset of not knowing). my other "project" is coming up, will still sort things out before i post about it here. :)

to have a simple life like this  moth....sigh!

when you are faced with a bunch of flowers in the vase, grab the camera and just shoot away :D is this carnation? am not really sure :D

even if we really don't have spring! :D  butterfly out on a sunny day :D

playing around with the effects on this gerbera (?) flower. i'm really really poor with floras, it's pink in colour but somehow i like the black and white effect.

btw, i've watched "clash of the titans". i was looking forward to watching the movie but was somewhat left wanting for more. definitely a popcorn movie, although i was expecting more from it. nevertheless, i still wishes to be io as i really really like perseus! :D

first quarter of the new decade has gone by easily and yet i'm still not done sorting out the photos from my vacation. i might not be able to do them consecutively as photos keep on piling up in my "baul".  but i guess i'll be getting better sorting them out now. btw, i love the bokeh of this flower. please don't ask me to name it, my usual reply would be "i have no idea!" :D
