this is a Ramayana ballet dancer. i took this shot during our trip to Yogyakarta. it's an open-air theater with Prambanan temple at the backdrop. according to the locals, they usually perform during the full moon and we were quite lucky because they have a scheduled performance when we went there. it was an awesome local ballet performance that lasted for three hours. it depicts the love story of Rama and Shinta. everything is really great, i have learnt to appreciate the gamelan and the elaborate costumes as well.

the photos above are almost a year old. about the same time i decided to take a step higher than just taking pictures (just hitting the shutter here and there). this was taken on our outdoor trip to Taman Safari in Puncak (read: pun-chak), Jakarta. it was a fun trip, though we had to travel for almost two hours sans the traffic (that is from South Jakarta to the Safari).

the other day, i had the chance to do what i've been wanting to do since i had them. this is my fave animated movie for this year. they were my birthday presents and yes they are free from happy meal but i do appreciate my friends who gave them to me. unfortunately i won't be able to complete them anymore *sniff*sniff*. i wish i would have Tigress, Viper and Mantis (donations anyone? :P)

since i can't do much with their poses, i tried playing with the lights and the effects (picasa). and i was satisfied!

i wasn't able to attend the mass yesterday due to headache. ate d asked me to come today since uncle will do the reading for this afternoon's mass. we arrived early at the church and there were a few people. i told ate d i'd go and look around. these are what i have found by the grotto of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.





since i make it to a point to always bring a camera, even if it is a cloudy afternoon, i never missed the chance to hit the shutter. my only problem is that, i can't ID them. i'm not so good with floras. :P

the Singapore flyer, an iconic attraction in the country. taller than the famed London Eye. i took this shot going to the flyer but i haven't got the chance to 'fly'. maybe i'll try next time...

taken during our 'huga-huga' trip in Borobudur, Yogyakarta (Jogja), Indonesia. this is the largest Buddhist temple. a captivating scenery at sun rise though this would really pass for a sunset photo.
