i managed to capture this when i went to Marina Barrage for a fun day with a colleague's family. while i was waiting for them at the rooftop i captured this one before a lot of people came in to do some kite flying. a few minutes of solitude to admire the skyline. more amazing photos for Sky Watch. i feel guilty that i haven't been posting lately about one of my favourite subjects. this was taken tonight.

and this was taken two nights ago. guess i am making up for lost opportunities! :D 

taken a month ago. weather has been quite gloomy here for the past week. there's always a heavy downpour by afternoon hence very little chance for sunset photos. i've noticed that i've got a few midday photos from my files. i always end up looking at the sky and clouds when i go out to buy lunch hence i always have my colleagues shouting at me if i get too carried away :D amazing sky photos are surely up for Sky Watch. have a great weekend everyone! 

remember the "dead trees" from my previous post? i forgot that i did a fake lomo photo with it using eleanor. i took this photo last feb on a sunny day. kinda looks creepy right?! it's like from a horror movie. but i'm loving this! :D btw, i still haven't had the chance to walk near these trees as it has been raining the past few weeks here. maybe some other time :D

when you are faced with a bunch of flowers in the vase, grab the camera and just shoot away :D is this carnation? am not really sure :D

this was the photo that i was supposed to post last week for Sky Watch. this was a drive by shot on my way home early morning (yes early morning! :D) after a night of drinking with friends. i really wanted to sleep in the cab but when i realised this sunrise happening, i've completely forgotten my need to sleep. it pays off right?! by the way, it is the Singapore flyer at the right side of the photo. :D time for some amazing skies again! have a lovely weekend everyone! :D

i've blogged about the day i went up for a hike during the middle of the day. this was on the farther end of the danger zone. as you can see, it's really old and rusty and i doubt it if i can cross it without falling (although i am really contemplating to do it that day :D). the funny thing about the trees from afar is that it never really had leaves which i don't know if it's dead or they're just like that. i am contemplating to get to the other side (on a safer route below) and get a close up of those trees. and i will cross my fingers not to encounter any snake if i do that! :)

i was supposed to post a different Sky Watch photo today but on my way home, i noticed that there might be a chance for a good sunset photo since i rarely get it these days. so here it is, fresh from the memory card! :D have a lovely weekend everyone! thanks to all the hosts of this meme as i am always able to see amazing skies around the world! :D

playing around with the effects on this gerbera (?) flower. i'm really really poor with floras, it's pink in colour but somehow i like the black and white effect.

btw, i've watched "clash of the titans". i was looking forward to watching the movie but was somewhat left wanting for more. definitely a popcorn movie, although i was expecting more from it. nevertheless, i still wishes to be io as i really really like perseus! :D

i've almost forgotten this photo until i reviewed again from my roll. this was taken as the plane was ascending on my flight back here in Singapore. the mountain from afar is Mt. Arayat. it's summer back home and everyone's almost away on a holiday while i will be spending half of my day working tomorrow despite the public holiday. amazing sky photos are surely up for Sky Watch. have a Happy Easter too! :)
