i took this photo today at around lunch. i never thought i would be able to take any sky photo this week for Sky Watch as it is raining almost everyday this week. the sky is always gloomy and gray. although i love the rain, sometimes you would be wishing for sunshine too! :D i especially walked out of work during lunch just to take sky photos. such bliss this midday as it rained again in the afternoon. have a great weekend everyone =]

i'm trying to see what animal this cloud formation resembles.
ReplyDeletewe've been having some drizzles here too. very grey skies. atypical for late may around these parts, but i guess it's the el nino to blame.

ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful sky! That is real drama!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you decided to go outside. Your photo is very interesting. In a way rather eerie. The clouds look yellowish.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sky... I like the way the clouds seem to be rising upwards to an unseen goal.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you got to see this sky during your break & also to share it with your fellow skywatchers! It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat backdrop makes your photo look even more dramatic! Nothing beats a good dose of fluffy cloud for starting the day off right!

ReplyDeletePretty darn impressive photo. Here in Seattle we've had an unusual amount of gray clouds for about a month and I really sympathize with how much you care about the brief flashes of sun. Here they call them sunbreaks.
