yes, the title is correct :D i have just seen the movie today as it is the first day of showing here and i couldn't wait until the public holiday to watch this. and i have no regrets! yes, i love love love love love love the movie! i'm so satisfied with the action scenes. and i most especially love the raw emotions between logan and victor. added bonus, logan escaped in his birthday suit. hahaha! and wait for someone making a cameo appearance. :D did i say i love the movie?! :D

this was the full moon last month. for those wondering how i do moon shots, here's my tip. try to manipulate the shutter speed of your camera if it's possible. i use a fast shutter speed although it would always depend on my liking how fast should it be. make sure to focus on the moon, zoom in and if possible stay away from bright artificial lights. i am not sure how to do it using a point and shoot camera but maybe if you try the "sports" scene/mode, it might work. hopefully this helps if you want to try moon shots. :D and yes, the moon is connected to the movie. please do watch it if you're interested why! :)

i captured this the same day that skittles and the rest of the gang are sunbathing outside school :D. once or twice there will be butterflies fluttering around but it was quite difficult to catch them (they are very restless). this one stayed in it's place for more than ten seconds. so i snapped his picture trying to focus on the eyes. i have read that you should always focus on the eyes if you are doing insect photography. so from all the shots that i have taken, this is the best one that i have. what do you think?

this is skittles official portrait shot. :D we're having pond friends for this term in school so we have little terrapins around. we have three, named skittles, hershey and charlie. during lunch time, we would let them roam around the grass area outside school so they can roam around. we have learnt that for turtles/terrapins, they should be spending 60% of the time on land that's why aside from sunbathing, we let them have their little bit of freedom. and they crawl around very fast. am not sure if skittles was a little pissed off that i kept following him around. what do you think? :D

taken at the botanical gardens. my first alive butterfly shot (yey!). there are a couple of butterflies i have seen around but unfortunately i am not really good at chasing after them as they are really restless and it was very humid that day too (in short: tinamad ako! :D). good thing this guy rested for about ten seconds before it flew again. i didn't really notice that it also had it's wings broken. poor little fella :(

my first tutubi (dragonfly) shot! yay! we went to Botanical gardens for an ocular for a planned field trip. the closest that i can get because one more step and i will definitely fall on the pond! :D this cute creature reminds me most of my childhood memories as i used to chase and catch this tutubing kalabaw and tutubing karayom (really getting old! :D).

Sky Watch day is my favourite day of the week! it's the day for me to visit wonderful skies around the world!

it's the start of the holy week. most of the people i know (hi Reena!) will take their time off and spend quality time with their families and/or friends. since i obviously won't have my time off and won't be spending it with my family, i'll take the opportunity and time to reflect. it's funny how my colleagues are expecting me to join clubbing with them on Thursday night since Good Friday is a public holiday. they are not expecting me to refuse the invite and i told them i will just be staying home during the long weekend. i know i don't look the part but this is what i have grown to...staying at home and reflecting during this time. i wonder where are you all going to???

i am kind of missing my moon shots. i'm glad i was able to capture one tonight and posted it for Sky Watch. sky is pitch dark and few stars are seen. enjoy the moon! have a happy weekend everyone!

yes, i was back here some three weeks ago. but this was taken last january :D. i had to do a little bit of researching before i decided to post this. pardon the blurriness of the shot. was trying to do long exposure, hand-held. was too kuripot to buy tripod. and yes, there's tooth relic at the temple :D (please don't ask me for pictures, i didn't look for it :D)

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple was founded in 2002 by Venerable Shi Fa Zhao. It is dedicated to the Maitreya Buddha and houses the tooth relic of the Sakyamuni Buddha. for more information check here.
